Constant Content Lowers Payout Threshold

Published by rusty at 8:23 pm under make money online Edit This

I was pleasantly surprised to suddenly receive a payment from Constant Content several days ago. I have not been very active on the site, so my earnings of a little over $30 had been sitting there for months, waiting to reach the required $50 payout minimum. When the money unexpectedly showed up on my PayPal account, I went to investigate and found out that the payout threshold has changed to only $5. This might not affect writers who work a lot for Constant Content and earn far more than $50 per month, but for someone like me, it’s a good thing. Now I can get paid even if I only sell a couple of articles per month through CC.

Are you kidding? This is great news. I’m signed up with CC but never bothered to submit anything because I don’t write a lot and figured it would take forever to make $50.00. I’d be happy even with a $25.00 threshold. I’ll have to check in and see if there’s any discussion about it. I suspect that buyers may be cutting back because of the economic downturn, making it harder for people to sell high-priced articles. Just a guess, of course. I may be way off base.

Rusty, could you do me a favor? They won’t let me into the forum and I have no idea what’s going on with Today. My last two posts are nowhere to be found on the home page list or the category lists of current posts. Is it possible my blog was changed from writing to some other category? There’s something about category pages on my control panel, but I don’t know what that means. Have you had any problem with this? I have to use the contact link every time I want to ask a question, and it can take days to get an answer. I’m getting very frustrated. If you can leave me a note, either here or on my blog, I’d appreciate it.

Sure catana. I will go to your blog and try leaving a comment there as well. I do not seem to have any trouble with Today.com, although I do not visit the forums very often…

Thanks, Rusty. I’ve dropped Getting Back to Basics because I lost my interest in it. But since it’s the one I started with, it’s attached to my name on comments. My active blog is Capturing Chaos, about writing. That’s the one that isn’t showing up for readers to find on the home page and in the Recently Updated section. I guess I’ll have to send in a Help request.
