Writing Articles for TextBroker
TextBroker is another site that brings together content writers and content buyers. As a writer, you need to apply and send in a writing sample. Your writing skills will be rated on the scale from 1 to 5. Usually, all newly approved writers get the rating of 3.
When you are rated, you can log in and look at article requests posted there. You will be able to see only those that are for writers rated 3 and below. The pay depends on your rating, and the pay is low ($3-5 per article).
You can take one assignment at a time. There is a deadline by which you must complete it and send it in for the client to review. The client may accept the article or send it back for revision. If the article is accepted, your account is credited for the specified amount. When you have reached $10, you can request payment. Payments are sent out every month, via PayPal.

That looks like an interesting possibility. I read the basic info there, but I’d like to know more before signing up. Have you written for them? What has your experience been — good, average?
>To Catana: No, I have not written for them. My post is based on a friend’s experience. She has sold over 10 articles there, never had a revision request. She says there are some good assignments over there, but most are on subjects she is not interested in - like cars and sports.
I finally found the information I was looking for. Think I’ll pass it up. AC pays about the same for good articles, plus you get PPV bonuses. I wouldn’t give up all my rights for such a low one-time payment. The top level is worth it, but how long would it take to get there?
