Claiming My Blog At Technorati
This is a technical post required to claim my blog at Technorati. I am supposed to post their code here, so here goes:
<a href=”http://technorati.com/claim/8updwhrgue” rel=”me”>Technorati Profile</a>
Technorati says I can delete this post after claiming my blog; I don’t think I will. Perhaps it can serve educational purposes. I am learning about Technorati myself as I am doing this. Registering with them and claiming your blog(s) helps to get more exposure, more visitors, and therefore more money. How? I’m not sure, but having more visitors is a good thing, so I’m doing it.
If you’ve got a blog and want to promote it, you probably should as well.

I thought about doing it, and after looking at the Technorati site, I decided it would probably be a waste of time. The chances of anybody even seeing a blog there is ridiculously small, unless it’s about sports, sex, news, or something else that the majority of people want to read. The best way I’ve found to get readers is to post intelligent and relevant comments on blogs and forums.
Hmm… Well, I’m not gonna write about sports or sex, that’s for sure!
I use forums to promote by blog as well, it’s a good strategy.
